Revlon Lip Butters in Canada!! Swatches, review & comparison

Hi ladies,
I'm finally back with a very raved about product and they are the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters!!! They have finally arrived in Canada!!! YAY!!

From all the blogs and videos I've seen about these Lip Butters, there are 4 colors I really really wanted to get my hands on. They are: Berry Smoothie, Cherry Tart, Lollipop & Sweet Tart. If you find them, just grab them because they are being sold very quickly. The stands only have about 2 of each color!!!

They were actually quite hard to find, especially Berry Smoothie!! The prices also vary greatly from store to store!
  • At Wal-Mart: $7.97
  • At Jean-Coutu: $8.99
  • At Pharmaprix: $9.49
Pros:
  • Very moisturizing
  • Very lightweight
  • Very wearable color
  • Lots of shades/colors to choose from
  • Great products to try new colors that might be too edgy in lipstick form
  • Very glossy
Cons:
  • Not too long lasting, about 2 hours
  • Might be hard to find the shades you want
I will most probably get more shades when they eventually go on sale...

They are very comparable to the Elf Conditoning Lipbalm and the NYX Tinted Lip Spa:

Hope you enjoyed my review!!!
Till next time...~

Review & Swatch: ELF Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15

Hi Ladies,
I know this is way over due, but better late than never, right? A few months back, I purchased a lot of ELF products because they had a 60% off. These are some of the products I purchased.
(From left to right: Mellow Melon, Nice & Natural and Peaceful Pink)
Pros:
  • Sun protection of SPF 15
  • Great color pay off
  • Affordable
  • Creamy, but not sticky

Cons:
  • Unhygienic
  • Too much unnecessary plastic, not travel friendly
These conditioning lip balm does have a SPF scent to them, but I don't mind it too much. When I do happen to bring it out with me, I would always bring a retractable lip brush. This lip brush is from QUO. It is very small and sleek to carry around. Does take up much room.

Here's the swatches:

I would definitely recommend these to others, but just make sure you don't dip your fingers in them... especially when you're outside!!

Has anyone tried them before? How do you like them?
Till next time...~

Haul: Elf 60% off sale

Hi Ladies,
I got my package from ELF a few days ago. I got everything at 60% off!! YAY ^^

Here's a list of the products I got:
  • 4 Piece Bamboo Brush Set
  • Dual Pencil Sharpener
  • Eye Shadow Brush
  • Conditioning Lip Balm SPF15 in Mellow Melon, Nice & Natural and Peaceful Pink
  • Shine Eraser
I got this travel size makeup brush because it was very very similar to the EcoTool one. The brush is very soft and I'm sooo happy I got this set instead of the EcoTool one!

Conditioning Lip Balm SPF15 in Nice & Natural, Peaceful Pink and Mellow Melon. They are all very moisturizing and I love the fact they contain SPF15. The only thing I don't like about it is packaging. Very bulky and not easy to get the product out. This is why I got the lip brush from Quo.

And since I like so much their eyeshadow brushes, I got 2 more!

Summer is making my face quite oily, so I got the Shine Eraser to help with the oiliness on my face. As for the Dual Pencil Sharpener, the one I have is starting to get old. Therefore I got a new one to replace it!

Did anyone get anything from the sale?
Till next time...~

ELF Brush Madness!!

Hi Ladies,

how are you doing? Today, I want to share with you all my first ELF brush haul!! I was soooo excited when I got home from work and saw a pretty package waiting for me at the door... It was my ELF order!

This is what was inside the box:

I've purchased 2 times the same products because I'm planning to give them as a birthday gift for a friend who's always wanted makeup brushes!

Here's a list of everything that I got:

  • Mini Eyelash Curler
  • Small Smudge Brush
  • Complexion Brush
  • Powder Brush
  • Contour Brush
  • Concealer Brush
  • Eyeshadow "C" Brush
  • Small Precision Brush
  • Blush Brush
  • Blushing, Bronzing and Blending Brush
  • Kabuki Face Brush
  • Black Signature Case
  • Mini Eyelash Curler
  • Eyebrow Stencil
  • Free Gift: Candy Shop Liptin
Here's a close-up view of the Black Signature Case:

There's an extra sipper in the back where you can put all your makeup inside. Very convenient and perfect size for travel.

I am very satisfied with my purchase EXECPT for one brush... the Blushing, Bronzing and Blending Brush. The bristles are so ruth, I pretty much threw it in the garbage after I touched it!

I wasn't totally surprised because I did heard some youtubbers complain about their new normal line brushes. The old ones which had brown bristles and white handles are amazing. ( I own some) But these ones with the red bristles are to avoid!!!

This will be it for this post.
Till next time...~

Small brush haul!

Hey Beautifuls,

Today, when I went to check the mail I was surprised to see that my order has arrived!! SOOOO HAPPY! I recently made an order from "The Makeup Mix Shop". There's not a big selection on this site, but what I like about it is that it's free shipping with purchase of $20 and more. It's hard to get things online when shipping is usually sooooooo expensive to Canada!!

Here's what I got...

  1. Ecotools 6 piece eye brush set
  2. Ecotools retractable kabuki
  3. Elf studio powder brush
  4. Elf eyeshadow brush
Ecotools brush are sooo much cheaper on the site compared to drugstores. I got the 6 piece eye brush set for $9.99 and the retractable kabuki for $8.50. I believe if I purchased these items in drugstores it would have cost me $15.99 each. I already own a few Ecotools brushes and I absolutely love them! They are sooooo soft!!

As for the Elf brushes... well I've always wanted to tried them out and since my purchase was not quite over $20 yet, I decided to get the 2 Elf brushes. They are AMAZINGLY soft!!! I'm glad that through this site I was able to check them out. I'll still have to see where I can get some Elf brushes, but with a low shipping fee, because I believe it's like $15 just for shipping which is ridiculous!!!! Let me know if anyone knows a website that I can purchase Elf brushes with low shipping fee!!! ^^

Till next time...~
