Review: Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Day & Night Lash Boosting Serum

Hey Ladies,
Here's my last review on my recent Physicians Formula purchase, the Eye Booster 2-in-1 Day & Night Lash Boosting Serum. It comes with a very thin felt tip applicator and I got it in clear.

What it claims:
  • Visibly enhances natural lash growth while nourishing & conditioning lashes
  • Lash boosting complex targets the root of lashes where it is most effective in providing nutrients associated with growing long, thick lashes
What I think about the product:
  • When you first apply this product on the base of your eyelash, it does sting a little for a few seconds or so
  • After some research on the product (comment from PinkOrchids made me worry), I found some interesting information on New York Times
    • Not sufficient research has been made to prove the safety of these products
    • Some side effects of Latisse: itching, irritation, redness and increased brown pigmentation of the iris.
  • I'm not about to take chances with some product that might be unsafe.
I hope everyone out there who's using some kind of eyelash enhancer be careful and just listen to the reactions that your skin tells you! I've already stopped using it, no chances are taken!

Did anyone get any reactions using any kind of eyelash enhancer?
Till next time...~

Review: Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara

Hey Beauties,
I'm back with the review of the Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara. Firstly, I just want to mention that this mascara does not come in waterproof! I was disappointed, but still got it just because it had a Full Price Mail-In-Rebate!

Here's how the mascara look like. It comes with a very unique packaging, shaped like a leaf. The brush is very similar to the CoverGirl Lashblast brushes and I love it!

This mascara contains:
  • 100% Free of Synthetic Solvents (can cause dry brittle lashes), Organic Orange Water (to hydrate and moisturize) and Organic Aloe & Cucumber Extracts (soothing and moisturizing)
  • 100% Natural Origin Biopolymers (for clump-free lashes)
  • 100% Natural Origin Preservatives (reduces the risk of irritation)
  • 100% Natural Origin Rice Protein & Organic Tapioca Starch (naturally boost volume) and Organic Beeswax (for a buildable formula)
  • 100% Natural Origin Color Pigments
  • 100% Free of Petroleum By Products
What it claims:
  • 100% of the total ingredients are from natural origin
  • 47% of the total ingredients are from Organic Farming
What I think about the product:
  • I love the fact that this mascara feels very lightweight on my lashes
  • It holds my curls
  • It gives a very natural look that I love
  • Love this product for everyday use
  • When I have it on, my lashes still feels very soft and moisturized
  • Don't need to think about the harm that it might cause, because it's 100% from natural origin
  • Can easily be taken off with normal makeup remover
Without mascara:

With mascara

This is one mascara that I will repurchase for everyday usage. I wouldn't wear this on a night out, but for everyday, I think it's the best one!

Have you tried this mascara? What are your opinions on it?
Till next time...~

Review: Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls Blush

Hi Ladies,
so I'm finally back with one of the product review talked about in the earlier post. I've been using this blush for a week now and I'm loving it. I got this blush in Natural Pearl, it's a very pretty peachy rose with pearl like reflects.

What it claims:
  • Unique palette of multi-colored pearls blend together to create an instant, healthy-looking glow for cheeks.
  • Mineral pearl extract delivers a luxurious skin-perfecting effect
    • Radiant finish blurs imperfections, revealing a flawless and youthful glow.
    • Protects and conditions skin with antioxidant properties.

When you flip the blush over, you have a brush and a mirror. The blush I never touched because it's not soft at all!

What I think about it:
  • I do love the pearl effect it has giving my cheeks a very pretty glow.
  • Love the multi-colored blend so I can play around, going from a light to darker blush
Here's a swatch

I do like this blush a lot more than the Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush because the other one has this very strong rose smell to it. I do have a very sensitive nose so the smell really does bother me!

Has anyone tried this blush? How do you like it?

Hope you enjoyed the review!
Till next time...~

January Haul!!

Hey Ladies,
After the holidays, there were so many things going on sale that I had to take advantage of the situation to get myself a few more things. And here they are:

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio for Brown Eyes

I got this on sale for $13.59, and on top of that, it came with a mail-in-rebate of $6. So I decided to give it a try. It comes with a brown, purple and illuminating black shade. It claims to be long-wearing, water-resistant, and smudge-resistant for 24-hour wear. Here's my test:

Before rubbing:

 After several rubs:

You can see that it did not budge, but the color did come off a bit. Not bad for the price!!

RW&Co still had their additional 50% off sales price, so I decided to check it out... obviously came out with a few more items:

Some hair accessories for $2.50 each

Dark blue bootcut jeans for $20

Dark blue slim leg jeans for $15

Got all the colors of this sweater now. This one is a cherry red color and got it for $12.47

Long black sweater for $15

Lastly, I was at Naturalizer and got these really cute shoes. The heel is not too high, just perfect for everyday wear and super comfortable. Got them for $30!

This is what it claims:

Did anyone took advantage of the after holiday sales to treat themselves?
Till next time...~
