Here's a review on which eyelid primer is better! I was at Sephora a week ago wanting to purchase a eyelid primer because my lids gets real oily when I put eyeshadows on. So I ask for assistance and they suggested me these two: Too Faced Shadow Insurance & Bare Escentuals bareVitamins Prime Time Eyelid Primer.
vs
They were nice enough to place each product in sample containers so I can try them before purchasing either one of them: (Bare Escentuals on the left & Too Faced on the right)
Texture:
- The Too Faced Shadow Insurance was much more creamier compared to the Bare Escentuals one. When applying to the lid, it was a lot easier to put the Too Faced compared to the Bare Escentuals. You can even see from the picture that the Bare Escentuals looked really dry.
Here I am testing both primers:

After 12 hours wear:
My verdict:
They are both very good at oil control, creasing prevention and fading. Therefore, purchase decision will be based on packaging and texture. I do prefer the packaging from Too Faced because it's more sanitary compared to the Bare Escentuals. As for the texture, I like Too Faced one better because it's creamier and easier to apply compared to the very dry texture of the Bare Escentuals!
My final purchase:
I went back to Sephora yesterday to purchase the product, and the winner is...
TOO FACED SHADOW INSURANCE
p.s You might be wondering... "what about the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion". Well, the first thought when I saw the product was... "ewww, not too sanitary", because you're double dipping, triple dipping... each time you place the wand back into the product and the chances of infections are higher especially when it's something you apply close to your eyes! So I said "NO THANKS"!
Hope you liked the review.
Till next time...~
i prefer TFSI's packaging over UDPP's, but bought the latter coz its included in their Hall of Fame kit. Followed your site! Thanks for dropping by mine.
